Since 1994, we have assembled a staff of Certified Investigators whose qualifications, education, investigation experience and attention to detail are proven from the fire scene to the courtroom. We also take pride in the fact that we have a full time administrative staff that continues to exceed our client’s expectations with quick response to their needs, whether it be answering their phone calls 24/7 or submitting a professional report package in a timely manner.

Brian P. Haag, CFI
Brian P. Haag is a Certified Fire Investigator (CFI) and has been a full-time investigator since 2001 with Whitemore Fire Consultants. As a Senior Fire Consultant with Whitemore Fire Consultants, Inc., Brian has investigated over 850 fires and has established himself as an expert in the determination of the origin and cause of fires and explosions including vehicle and equipment fires.
Brian has been a firefighter for the past 18 years and currently serves as the Fire Chief of the Annandale Fire Department in Annandale, Minnesota. Prior to coming to Whitemore Fire Consultants, Brian served as Fire Marshal for the city of Woodbury, Minnesota and was a paramedic with North Medical Transportation, Brooklyn Center, Minnesota.
Brian is an active member of the Minnesota Chapter of the International Association of Arson Investigators (MN-IAAI) as well as the Minnesota State Fire Chiefs Association (MSFCA), having attended the annual meeting and seminars with both organizations for many years. He has attended several national training seminars while employed by Whitemore Fire Consultants, most notably the Lee Cole and Associates Vehicle Fire Seminar in Las Vegas, Nevada, and the Incident Response to Terrorist Bombings at New Mexico Technical College, Socorro, New Mexico.
In addition to his national CFI certificate, Brian holds Firefighter I, Firefighter II and Fire Inspector I state certifications.
Brian was recently elected to Second Vice President of the Minnesota Chapter of the International Association of Arson Investigators at their recent annual meeting and seminar in St. Cloud, Minnesota.
Douglas A. Noah, CFI, CFEI
Douglas A. Noah is a Certified Fire Investigator (CFI) and a Certified Fire and Explosion Investigator (CFEI) and is the newest investigator with Whitemore Fire Consultants, having joined our team in December, 2008. Prior to being hired by Whitemore Fire Consultants, Doug worked as a fire investigator for a company based out of North Carolina, and prior to that, he owned a newspaper publishing business located in Kenyon, Minnesota.
Doug has been a firefighter with the Kenyon (Minnesota) Fire Department for the past 16 years, and has served the department as secretary/treasurer, assistant fire chief, and most recently, fire chief. Doug is also active in the fire service at the state level, currently serving as secretary of the Minnesota State Fire Department Association, as well as serving on committees with the Minnesota State Fire Chiefs Association. He is also a member of the International Association of Arson Investigators, the Minnesota Chapter of the International Association of Arson Investigators, and the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA).
In addition to his national CFEI certificate, Doug holds Firefighter I and Firefighter II state certifications, and has a bachelor of science degree in mass communications from St. Cloud State University.
Mark T. McCue, CFI
Mark T. McCue is a Certified Fire Investigator (CFI) and has been with Whitemore Fire Consultants as a part-time investigator since 1995. As a Senior Fire Consultant, Mark has conducted over 500 fire and explosion investigations since that time. In addition to working for Whitemore Fire Consultants, Mark has been with the St. Paul (Minnesota) Fire Department since 1981, and currently serves as District Chief.
Prior to becoming District Chief with the city of St. Paul, Mark investigated over 1,800 fire scenes while serving for 12 years as an investigator with the St. Paul Fire Department. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in business from the University of Minnesota, has a Bachelor of Science degree in Fire Safety Engineering and Technology from the University of Cincinnati, Ohio, and recently completed a Masters Degree in Business Administration from the University of St. Thomas located in St. Paul, Minnesota.
Mark has also attended countless hours of training in the fire investigation area, including at the National Fire Academy, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms, and the Barker and Herbert Analytical Laboratories.
Brian R. Whitemore Fire Investigation Technician
Brian R. Whitemore, has joined Whitemore Fire Consultants, Inc., graduating from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with a Bachelor's Degree in Business/Marketing. Brian works closely with the other investigators providing evidence handling, scene documentation, and other investigation needs. Brian is currently working on building his credentials and qualfications toward becoming a fire investigator. He will be attending additional educational opportunities to provide more experience and knowledge in the fire investigation field. Recently, Brian completed all the requirements and educational courses necessary to achieve certification through the International Association of Arson Investigators as a Fire Investigation Technician (FIT).
Pamela A. Whitemore Director of Client Development/Editor Inside Fire
Pamela A. Whitemore has taken on a new role of Director of Client Development. Having worked directly with Bob for the past 16-years, she has an indepth knowledge of clients needs in the fire investigation industry. Pam coordinates client visits for the investigator(s), schedules and plans educational seminars, and is the editor of our quarterly newsletter which you can view on our website under “News”. Amy M. Powell Business Manager
Amy Powell, Executive Assistant, has been with the company since 2009. She comes to Whitemore Fire Consultants, Inc. with over 8 years of administrative experience having worked as an executive assistant in the mechanical contracting business. She has a wide range of experience and knowledge in comprehensive support and coordinating essential tasks as well as customer service issues. Amy is the contact if you have questions regarding a new loss, report preparation, scheduling investigations, or answering questions regarding investigator availability.
Jodi A. Davis Administrative Assistant
Jodi Davis has been with Whitemore Fire Consultants, Inc. since 2007 serving as our receptionist as well as providing customer service assistance. Along with assisting our clients with new loss requests, Jodi is involved in report package preparation, answering telephones, as well as many other administrative duties. Prior to working with Whitemore Fire Consultants, Inc. she was fortunate enough to be a stay-at-home mom for 8+ years.
